Deck overview

This deck is a high-speed competitive Commander (cEDH) turbo combo list powered by K'rrik, Son of Yawgmoth. K'rrik allows black mana symbols in costs to be paid with 2 life, turning the player's starting 40 life total into an explosive 20 black mana battery. Supported by format-ceiling fast mana rocks and black rituals, the deck routinely deploys K'rrik on Turn 1 or Turn 2. Once active, low-cost tutors search for compact win packages. The premier line puts Necrotic Ooze, Asmodeus the Archfiend, and Skirge Familiar into the graveyard with Buried Alive, then reanimates Ooze to draw the entire library and generate surplus mana to loop Gray Merchant of Asphodel with Chainer, Dementia Master. Redundant paths through Hoarding Broodlord, Peer into the Abyss, and Bolas's Citadel ensure high resilience. The deck plays proactive disruption like Opposition Agent and Defense Grid to protect its rapid same-turn finishes.
