Deck overview

This deck is a specialized Polymorph control strategy commanded by Jace, Multiverse Architect. The primary plan accelerates mana during the first three turns using a dense suite of 2-CMC mana rocks, while generating disposable creature tokens through noncreature permanents and spells like Skrelv's Hive, Staff of the Storyteller, and Secure the Wastes. On turn 4, casting Jace and activating its -3 ability immediately converts a 1/1 token into a devastating 6-to-10 CMC monster directly from the library. High-impact hits like Archon of Cruelty, Lord Xander, the Collector, Valgavoth, Terror Eater, and Elesh Norn, Mother of Machines dismantle opposing resources and establish overwhelming board presence. Supported by alternative cheat engines like Proteus Staff and Synthetic Destiny, the deck transitions from early setup into a rapid multi-threat assault that overpowers the table by turn 7.
