Deck overview

This deck is a five-color Spider tribal aggro-midrange list helmed by Cosmic Spider-Man. The primary game plan revolves around curving out low-to-mid cost Spider creatures in the opening turns, establishing all five colors of mana, and casting the commander on Turn 5. Upon entering combat, Cosmic Spider-Man turns every Spider into an evasive, lifelinking, trample threat with first strike and haste. This burst of combat effectiveness creates substantial life total swings, stabilizing your life total while pressuring opposing life totals simultaneously. The deck supplements this pressure with token generators like Silk, Web Weaver and Arasta of the Endless Web, alongside extra combat spells such as Relentless Assault and Savage Beating. Interaction features versatile removal and niche disruption cards like Opposition Agent and Spider-Woman, Stunning Savior. While reliant on combat damage and vulnerable to board wipes, the deck delivers consistent mid-game board presence.
