Deck overview

Pantlaza, Sun-Favored commands a fearsome Naya Dinosaur tribal midrange deck that leverages the Discover mechanic to cheat mana costs and flood the battlefield with prehistoric behemoths. The deck accelerates through green ramp spells and cost reducers to deploy Pantlaza by Turn 4, immediately generating card advantage and tempo. By Turn 5, the deck transitions into lethal pressure using heavyweight apex predators such as Gishath, Sun's Avatar, Etali, Primal Storm, and Bonehoard Dracosaur, or explosive cheat enablers like Savage Order and Sneak Attack. A high density of trampling bodies, combined with passive draw engines like Elemental Bond and Garruk's Uprising, maintains relentless momentum across turn cycles. Opponents are systematically overwhelmed by combat damage enhanced by Akroma's Will, Chandra's Ignition, or infinite token generation via Marauding Raptor and Polyraptor. Premium defensive spells like Teferi's Protection and Heroic Intervention safeguard the board against sweepers.
