Deck overview

This deck is a high-powered Dimir tempo build commanded by Anowon, the Ruin Thief. It curves out early with cheap, evasive Rogues such as Invisible Stalker and Shoreline Looter to reliably connect in combat, mill opposing libraries, and generate overwhelming card advantage. The deck leverages efficient mana acceleration like Mana Crypt and Grim Hireling to fund explosive mid-game plays. It closes games either by casting a prowled Notorious Throng to create an insurmountable flying army with an extra turn, or by assembling the infinite life-drain mill loop of Bloodchief Ascension and Mindcrank. Defensively, the list features a premier interaction suite featuring free spells like Fierce Guardianship and Deadly Rollick, paired with oppressive flash stax pieces like Opposition Agent and Notion Thief that punish opposing development.
