Deck overview

This deck is a synergistic Jund attrition and combo strategy led by Auntie Ool, Cursewretch. The game plan revolves around placing -1/-1 counters across both friendly and opposing creatures. Placing counters on your own creatures triggers Auntie Ool to draw cards, while placing them on opposing creatures drains their life totals. High-synergy token producers like Nest of Scarabs and Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons turn every counter placement into an expanding army of deathtouch Snakes and Insects. The deck establishes oppressive board control through Kulrath Knight and Maha, Its Feathers Night, completely neutralizing enemy combat steps and wiping opposing creatures. It closes games either through overwhelming combat damage supported by mass drain effects like Obelisk Spider and Massacre Wurm, or via an infinite death-trigger loop with Blowfly Infestation and Nest of Scarabs.
