Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy combo and burn list led by Wayta, Trainer Prodigy. The strategy centers on turning self-inflicted damage into lethal output against opponents. Wayta provides a cheap, repeatable fight engine that halves its cost when targeting your own creatures, while doubling any damage-based triggered abilities you control. The deck leverages an array of damage-reflecting creatures such as Boros Reckoner, Spitemare, and Brash Taunter, alongside Enrage payoffs like Wrathful Raptors and Polyraptor. Supported by explosive fast mana and tutors, the deck ramps quickly into its commander and spite pieces. It closes games through infinite damage loops, such as attaching Guilty Conscience or Blazing Sunsteel to Brash Taunter, or by casting Blasphemous Act combined with Arcbond to deal massive, doubled burst damage across the table. Robust protection spells like Grand Abolisher, Silence, and Teferi's Protection ensure the combo executes cleanly.
