Deck overview

This deck is an Orzhov Angel tribal and lifegain midrange strategy commanded by Liesa, Shroud of Dusk. It aims to accelerate on turns 1 to 3 using artifacts and tribal enablers like Giada, Font of Hope, resolving Liesa on turn 4. Once deployed, Liesa exerts continuous pressure by taxing every cast spell for 2 life while providing a 5/5 flying, lifelinking clock that mitigates her own life loss. The deck transitions into a lethal threat on turn 6 by pairing Liesa with synergistic tribal anchors like Righteous Valkyrie, Archangel of Thune, and Lyra Dawnbringer. Although the deck includes an un-tutored two-card infinite combo via Exquisite Blood and Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose, its typical path to victory is grinding opponents down through aerial combat and inevitable life attrition by turn 9. While resilient against single-target removal due to Liesa's life-based tax replacement, the deck remains vulnerable to repeated board wipes.
