Deck overview

Tiamat commands a five-color Dragon tribal deck focused on aggressive mana ramp, overwhelming board presence, and explosive burst damage. The early game focuses on fixing all five colors and deploying cost reducers like Urzas Incubator and Dragonspeaker Shaman. Once mana is established, casting Tiamat refills your hand with five high-impact Dragons tailored to the situation, such as Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm, Klauth, Unrivaled Ancient, and Old Gnawbone. You convert this burst of card advantage into an immediate victory by cheating casting costs with Morophon, the Boundless or Dracogenesis, granting haste with Temur Ascendancy or Dragon Tempest, and annihilating all opponents with massive flying combat damage or Dragon Tempest burn triggers.
