Deck overview

This deck is an optimized five-color Elemental combo and reanimator strategy helmed by Horde of Notions. The primary win condition leverages Horde's ability to cast Elemental spells from the graveyard without paying their mana costs. By pairing a five-color mana generator like Bloom Tender or Faeburrow Elder with Chakram Retriever, the deck establishes a deterministic loop with Crib Swap—a changeling instant that counts as an Elemental. Casting Crib Swap untaps Bloom Tender, producing the five colors needed to recast Crib Swap repeatedly. This generates infinite storm, infinite creature tokens, and infinite enter-the-battlefield triggers, closing out the game immediately through Grapeshot, Goblin Bombardment, or card draw with Risen Reef into Finale of Devastation. Backed by format-staple zero-mana acceleration, comprehensive tutors, and free interaction, the deck reliably attempts its combo by Turn 4. If disrupted, it pivots into heavy midrange pressure using Maelstrom Wanderer and Avenger of Zendikar.
