The Infinity Horde by Nightbear

Format: Commander

Commander: Teval, the Balanced Scale

Bracket: 5

Deck overview

This is a Sultai graveyard-combo deck helmed by Teval, the Balanced Scale, built to use the graveyard as a second hand and close the game with an aristocrats loop. The primary kill is the Gravecrawler engine: with a Zombie on board and a sacrifice outlet like Warren Soultrader or Phyrexian Altar, the deck re-casts Gravecrawler from the graveyard indefinitely, fueling Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, or Syr Konrad, the Grim to drain the entire table. Teval is a value engine rather than a combo piece: her attack trigger mills and recurs lands, while her second trigger turns every graveyard exit into a 2/2 Zombie Druid token - conveniently keeping a Zombie available for Gravecrawler. The 99 also contains hidden commanders in Muldrotha, the Gravetide and Six, plus draw engines like Necropotence and The Gitrog Monster. The deck is fast, low to the ground, and heavily tutored.
