Deck overview

This deck is an Esper Sphinx tribal midrange build commanded by The Ur-Sphinx. It takes full advantage of the commander's eminence ability to discount expensive flying threats right from the start of the game. The deck focuses on accelerating in the early turns with two-mana artifacts, establishing high-value draw and cost-reduction engines by turn 4 or 5, and pivoting into an overwhelming airborne assault by turn 6. Powerhouses like Unesh, Criosphinx Sovereign, Kindred Discovery, and Windreader Sphinx generate immense card advantage with each creature cast and combat swing. Asymmetric board wipes such as Raise the Palisade and Kindred Dominance clear the way for lethal flying damage while keeping your own board intact. Supported by solid Esper interaction, reanimation, and protection spells, the deck overwhelms the table through sheer resource volume and evasive combat power.
