Shredder, Shadow Master by user3675983

Format: Commander

Commander: Shredder, Shadow Master

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a mono-black Ninja life-halving deck built around Shredder, Shadow Master. The commander's attack creates token copies of itself swinging at each other opponent, and every point of combat damage halves that player's life - a clock that compounds into a table kill when paired with life-loss doublers like Bloodletter of Aclazotz and Wound Reflection. The deck wraps this in a heavy discard-control shell (Thoughtseize, Hymn to Tourach, Bottomless Pit, Painful Quandary) and a backup life-loss plan via Raving Dead, Unstoppable Slasher, Fraying Omnipotence, and drain from Blood Artist and South Wind Avatar. It is a midrange attrition deck that wants to strip hands, land Shredder with evasion, and convert a single unblocked swing into a one-shot elimination.
