Deck overview

This mono-black deck combines aristocrats sacrifice engines with a lethal voltron clock centered around Super Shredder. The commander enters early on Turn 2 and rapidly accumulates +1/+1 counters whenever any permanent leaves the battlefield. By deploying asymmetric sacrifice creatures such as Accursed Marauder, Fleshbag Marauder, and Plaguecrafter, the deck continuously strips opposing boards while growing its commander into a lethal menace threat. Engines like Warren Soultrader, Braids, Arisen Nightmare, and Morbid Opportunist convert recursive fodder into mana and card advantage. Lock pieces like Braids, Cabal Minion and Archfiend of Depravity apply severe resource pressure, preventing opponents from establishing defenses. Protection spells and The Ozolith preserve combat progress, allowing the deck to eliminate players sequentially through commander damage and supplemental life drain.
