Format: Commander

Commander: Cloud, Midgar Mercenary

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Cloud, Midgar Mercenary leads a mono-white equipment voltron deck. His enters trigger searches out a key Equipment, and once he is equipped his static ability doubles every relevant Equipment trigger, turning Buster Sword, Umezawa's Jitte, Sword of Hearth and Home, and Fishing Gear into huge repeatable advantages. The deck's primary plan is to make Cloud unblockable and enormous, then hit for 21 commander damage with Colossus Hammer, Hero's Blade, and similar pump, finished by Akroma's Will. Secondary lines use Sram/Puresteel Paladin draw, Cid recursion, and Sword of Hearth and Home ramp. There is no hidden commander; Cloud is the intended engine.
