Deck overview

This deck is an Esper reanimator and combo strategy commanded by Saruman of Many Colors. It leverages mill and discard synergies to control the board while setting up fast, game-ending combos. The primary win condition uses Buried Alive to tutor Necrotic Ooze, Phyrexian Devourer, and Triskelion into the graveyard. Reanimating Necrotic Ooze allows it to gain the activated abilities of Devourer and Triskelion, exiling the library to place +1/+1 counters on itself and removing them to deal lethal damage to all opponents at instant speed. As a secondary route, the deck uses Duskmantle Guildmage paired with Mindcrank to initiate an infinite life-loss and mill loop. A dense suite of efficient and alternate-cost removal spells, including Snuff Out, Submerge, and Path to Exile, ensures the deck disrupts opposing threats while preserving mana to execute its own fast finishes.
