Deck overview

This deck is an Orzhov token-attrition strategy commanded by Kambal, Profiteering Mayor. The game plan leverages symmetrical token 'gift' spells and forced opponent token creation—such as Hunted Horror, Slaughter Specialist, Clackbridge Troll, and Tribute to Horobi—to trigger Kambal's ability, creating token copies on your side of the board while draining each opponent for every token created. The deck supplements this with traditional token creators like Adeline, Resplendent Cathar and Ocelot Pride, and amplifies life drain through aristocrat payoffs like Mirkwood Bats, Blood Artist, Elas il-Kor, Sadistic Pilgrim, and Bastion of Remembrance. Supported by efficient removal, board wipes, and card draw engines like Caretaker's Talent and Welcoming Vampire, the deck consistently assembles on Turn 4, initiates must-answer pressure by Turn 5, and grinds down all three opponents' life totals to finish the game around Turn 8.
