Sigurd, Jarl of Ravensthorpe by Bladesheath

Format: Commander

Commander: Sigurd, Jarl of Ravensthorpe

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Sigurd, Jarl of Ravensthorpe leads a Naya historic deck centered on Sagas and counter manipulation. Sigurd attacks early to activate his boast ability, either fast-tracking crucial Saga chapters or removing counters to repeat valuable early triggers while distributing plus one plus one counters across the board. The primary plan develops an overwhelming board state through incremental value from Sagas like Fall of the First Civilization and The Legend of Roku. The deck closes out games through explosive combat damage enabled by double strike on Swiftblade Vindicator, keyword distribution via Odric, Lunarch Marshal, massive stat boosts from World War Hulk and Excalibur, Sword of Eden, or direct damage loops from All Will Be One.
