Zombies by user7206291

Format: Commander

Commander: Wilhelt, the Rotcleaver

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Wilhelt is a zombie aristocrats/token engine: every nontoken zombie death replaces itself with a decayed token and his end-step sacrifice draws cards. The primary finish is the Gravecrawler + Phyrexian Altar loop, with Diregraf Captain, Plague Belcher, or The Meathook Massacre converting infinite deaths into life loss; tutors and free counters protect assembly. Secondary paths use Rooftop Storm or Warren Soultrader as alternate engines, and a go-wide zombie beatdown plan with lords and Necroduality closes games when the combo is disrupted. There is no hidden commander; Gravecrawler is the functional engine. The deck is broadly functional without Wilhelt, but he accelerates card draw and provides the enabler for the fastest loop.
