Deck overview

This four-color Commander deck combines Cecily, Haunted Mage and Wernog, Rider's Chaplain in an Investigate-focused midrange strategy with explosive spellslinger finishes. Early turns establish mana fixing and deploy Wernog to generate Clue tokens. Blink engines like Soulherder, Teleportation Circle, and Displacer Kitten repeatedly trigger Wernog's enter and leave abilities, producing vast artifact token reserves. Card draw multipliers such as Teferi's Ageless Insight and The One Ring rapidly fill the hand to eleven cards, satisfying Cecily's attack trigger to cast high-mana sorceries like Aminatou's Augury, Apex of Power, and Mnemonic Deluge for free. Artifact burn pieces including Mirkwood Bats, Reckless Fireweaver, and Kambal, Profiteering Mayor convert token generation and sacrifice into direct table damage. An alternate two-card combo of Niv-Mizzet, Parun and Curiosity provides an independent win condition, supported by high-tier interaction and plan protection.
