Gwenom, Remorseless

Format: Commander

Commander: Gwenom, Remorseless

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a mono-black, life-as-a-resource storm deck built around Gwenom, Remorseless. Her attack trigger turns the top of the library into a second hand: spells cast from the top are paid for with life instead of mana. The deck layers a low-curve ritual/artifact core underneath her, with Bolas's Citadel, Aetherflux Reservoir, and Sensei's Divining Top forming the primary deterministic win. Necropotence and Dark Confidant provide card flow, while Mortuary plus Viscera Seer and a zero-cost creature turns any Gwenom attack into an infinite storm/life engine. Wishclaw Talisman, Cruel Tutor, Dark Petition, and Beseech the Mirror find the missing pieces, and Defense Grid with Conqueror's Flail clear the way on the kill turn.
