Deck overview

This deck is a four-color (WUBR) Polymorph control strategy commanded by Jace, Multiverse Architect. The overarching game plan revolves around generating cheap, expendable creature tokens in the early game using cards like Bitterblossom variants, Skrelv's Hive, Dreadhorde Invasion, and Lingering Souls. By deploying 2-mana artifact acceleration on Turns 1–2, the deck reliably casts Jace ahead of curve on Turn 4, immediately activating his -3 loyalty ability to trade a throwaway token for a devastating high-mana threat directly from the library. The top-end creature suite features backbreaking beaters such as Archon of Cruelty, Serra's Emissary, Archfiend of Despair, and Darksteel Angel, alongside mass-polymorph effects like Synthetic Destiny. While the deck features robust interaction and sweepers to keep the board clear, its lethality is bound to combat damage and attrition rather than infinite loops, requiring multiple turn cycles to close out a pod.
