Smaug, Wicked Worm is a Treasure-centric value and finisher commander. Its enter-the-battlefield trigger scales with opponents' artifacts, and its cast trigger turns Treasure-funded spells into cantrips. The primary plan is to mass-produce Treasures, multiply them with Xorn and Academy Manufactor, then win through Revel in Riches, a huge Torment of Hailfire or Exsanguinate, or token-sacrifice drain. Smaug the Magnificent in the 99 acts as a hidden commander, attacking with haste and shooting for the Treasure count. The deck is mid-speed and goldfishes around turn 8; real games can accelerate when opponents supply artifact density.
