Deck overview

This Golgari deck blends Aristocrats sacrifice synergies, poison counters, and lethal infinite combos. Commanded by The Serpent Society, it leverages deathtouch creatures to repeatedly force opponents into asymmetric nontoken sacrifices whenever deathtouch creatures die. The primary win condition centers on resolving Sedgemoor Witch alongside Chain of Smog on Turn 4 to create infinite 1/1 Pest tokens, overwhelming the table on Turn 5. Backup lines utilize Yawgmoth, Thran Physician and Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons to dismantle opposing creature boards while drawing through the library into drain engines like Blood Artist and Zulaport Cutthroat. The deck features efficient 1–2 CMC acceleration, dense tutor access, and low-cost protection such as Veil of Summer and Heroic Intervention. It consistently controls the board via sustained edicts while pivoting rapidly into game-ending combo finishes.
