Deck overview

This deck is an explosive Jeskai Spellslinger list centered on Gandalf, Party Guest and an army of legendary Wizards. The primary game plan deploys low-cost legendary Wizards like Baral, Chief of Compliance, Kaza, Roil Chaser, and Veyran, Voice of Duality in the opening turns. On Turn 4, casting Gandalf immediately enables his combat trigger, which cheats instant and sorcery spells into play for free based on double your legendary Wizard count. By Turn 5, the deck transitions into a lethal threat by cheating format-warping sorceries such as Aminatou's Augury, Call Forth the Tempest, or Urza's Ruinous Blast. Because Gandalf bypasses casting costs during combat, your mana remains entirely untapped to protect your board with efficient counterspells. The deck finishes the game on Turn 6 through massive combat damage powered by Surge to Victory, Balmor, Battlemage Captain, and Adeliz, the Cinder Wind, alongside potent burn from Vivi Ornitier and Niv-Mizzet, Parun.
