Garden 8 Tayam by paczki

Format: Commander

Commander: Tayam, Luminous Enigma

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Abzan fungus deck wins by turning Saprolings into lands with Life and Limb, then sacrificing them in droves to Titania, Protector of Argoth to create 5/3 Elementals. Tayam, Luminous Enigma is the central engine: creatures enter with vigilance counters, and its ability mills three then reanimates a permanent with mana value 3 or less, letting the deck chain recursion and generate counters. Spore counters from thallids create a steady Saproling source, while Doubling Season and Evolution Sage multiply both tokens and counters. Secondary plans include buffing Fungi with Thelon of Havenwood and generating huge tokens from the graveyard. It is a midrange value deck that grinds into a sizable token/land army.
