Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity forced-combat Voltron strategy commanded by Alexios, Deimos of Kosmos. The game plan revolves around casting Alexios on Turn 3 or 4, attaching resilient equipment, and passing control to opponents. Because Alexios must attack each combat if able, cannot attack its owner, and gains a +1/+1 counter and haste on every player's upkeep, it attacks four times per turn cycle. This rapid combat cadence deals exponential commander damage, eliminating a three-player pod within two full rotations. The deck supports this game plan with damage multipliers like Furnace of Rath and Fiendish Duo, combat control pieces like Silent Arbiter, and nonbasic land denial via Blood Moon and Winter Moon. Crucially, equipment attached to Alexios remains under your control, ensuring persistent ward, hexproof, and damage triggers throughout opponents' turns. A compact backup combo between All Will Be One and The Red Terror provides alternate non-combat lethality.
