This Selesnya Group Hug and Pillowfort deck is commanded by Gluntch, the Bestower, focusing on accelerating the entire table's mana and card velocity while establishing robust defensive barriers around itself. Early turns focus on deploying low-cost mana dorks and symmetrical draw artifacts like Howling Mine, Font of Mythos, and Rites of Flourishing. As opponents receive extra cards and mana, the deck redirects incoming aggression through pillowfort staples including Ghostly Prison, Orzhov Advokist, Combat Calligrapher, and Nils, Discipline Enforcer, backed by protective fogs such as Sunstone and Everybody Lives!. Because opponents are incentivized to attack one another, the deck bides its time until it can comfortably generate seven mana to cast Approach of the Second Sun.
