Ojer Axonil, Punish Me Daddy (cEDH) by freescans5

Format: Commander

Commander: Ojer Axonil, Deepest Might // Temple of Power

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a mono-red burn-prison deck built to maximize Ojer Axonil, Deepest Might's replacement effect: every noncombat red source that would deal less than his power instead deals 4. The primary plan is to land the commander, assemble a "pinger battery" of Firebrand Archer, Electrostatic Field, Kessig Flamebreather, Erebor Flamesmith, Coruscation Mage, and similar triggers, then chain cheap instants and sorceries so each spell multiplies into 4 damage per opponent per pinger. Wheels and rituals such as Wheel of Fortune, Jeska's Will, and Treasonous Ogre fuel a single explosive turn, while Virtue of Courage can convert each damage event into free cards from the top of the library, looping the chain. The back face, Temple of Power, is a built-in failsafe: when Ojer dies he returns as a red land and can flip back for {2}{R} after the deck deals its usual 4 noncombat damage.
