Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy Jeskai Equipment Voltron build helmed by Captain America, First Avenger. The strategy bypasses prohibitive equip costs by using Captain America's Catch trigger to cheat massive weapons like Colossus Hammer, Excalibur, Sword of Eden, and Ultima Weapon directly onto him at the start of combat. Once equipped, Captain America presents an immediate lethal commander damage clock while simultaneously turning heavy Equipment into instant-speed removal via his Throw ability. A dense draw engine consisting of Sram, Senior Edificer, Puresteel Paladin, and Danitha, Sword of Hope keeps hand size replenished as artifacts are deployed. Layered protection from Clever Concealment, Haystack, and equipment-based ward or indestructible shields the board from opposing interaction. The deck closes games rapidly around Turn 6 by stacking evasion, damage doublers, extra combat phases, and targeted sniper damage to eliminate the table.
