Iroh to have fun by JermtheCasual

Format: Commander

Commander: Iroh, Grand Lotus

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is a Temur spellslinger/recursion deck helmed by Iroh, Grand Lotus, built around the Lessons mechanic and the commander's flashback ability. The core plan is to fill the graveyard with instants and sorceries, then use Iroh's flashback to recast them every turn for massive card advantage and removal pressure. The deck leans heavily on Lesson cards - Abandon Attachments, Cycle of Renewal, Iroh's Demonstration, Zuko's Exile, and others - which Iroh can flash back for a single mana, creating a repeatable value loop. Secondary win paths include dragon beatdown (Intet, the Dreamer, Ran and Shaw, Dragon Mage), wheel effects to refuel, and the damage amplifier Fated Firepower combined with Steal the Show as a finisher. The deck is a midrange value engine that wins through incremental advantage and combat rather than fast combos.
