Deck overview

This deck is an explosive Izzet Spellslinger Storm strategy led by Vivi Ornitier. Vivi acts as both a mana accelerant and a primary win condition, gaining +1/+1 counters and dealing 1 damage to each opponent whenever you cast a noncreature spell, while providing a burst of mana equal to its power once per turn. The deck leverages dense one-mana cantrips, mana rocks, and potent Magecraft engines like Archmage Emeritus, Storm-Kiln Artist, and Veyran, Voice of Duality. Attaching Curiosity to Vivi creates a devastating draw engine that nets three cards per cast, enabling massive single-turn storm sequences that eliminate all three opponents simultaneously. Additionally, Quicksilver Elemental forms an infinite mana combo by repeatedly copying Vivi's mana ability. Supported by cheap interaction, flexible bounce, and explosive backup threats like Stormsplitter and Hullbreaker Horror, the deck reliably assembles its engine on Turn 4 and threatens a lethal same-turn table finish on Turn 5.
