Deck overview

This deck is a four-color (WUBR) Polymorph and Planeswalker Control deck commanded by Jace, Multiverse Architect. The primary strategy focuses on deploying efficient mana rocks and low-cost token generators in the early game, followed by casting Jace on Turn 4. Once assembled, Jace uses its −3 loyalty ability to exile token fodder or Jace planeswalker tokens, revealing and cheating massive game-ending creatures directly onto the battlefield without paying their high mana costs. Payoffs like Archon of Cruelty, Hullbreaker Horror, Serra's Emissary, and Archfiend of Despair immediately establish overwhelming board control, deny opposing resources, and protect planeswalkers. Standalone Polymorph spells and mass reanimation provide robust redundancy if the commander is removed. A rich defensive suite of cheap counterspells, efficient removal, and phase-out protection shields your engine while evasive beaters and token swarms close the game through combat across multiple rotations.
