The Cycle of Rebirth by professrO

Format: Commander

Commander: Ravos, Soultender and Kydele, Chosen of Kruphix

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a four-color WUBG cycling-and-draw value deck. The partner pair of Ravos, Soultender and Kydele, Chosen of Kruphix gives the deck both a repeatable graveyard-to-hand engine and a mana battery that converts the deck's many draw triggers into a huge source of mana. The actual game plan is built almost entirely in the 99: use a dense cycling package with Astral Slide and Astral Drift to control the board, run out Fluctuator or New Perspectives to make cycling cheap or free, and then convert the card flow into a finish. Primary wins are Psychosis Crawler drain amplified by Teferi's Ageless Insight, Kydele-fueled X-spells like Exsanguinate and Debt to the Deathless, and a token/combat finish from Decree of Justice, Herald of the Forgotten, and the various cycling payoff creatures.
