Deck overview

Strefan, Maurer Progenitor leads a Rakdos vampire-tribal deck built entirely around Blood tokens: Strefan banks one token for each opponent who lost life that turn, then spends two during combat to cheat Vampires from hand onto the battlefield tapped, attacking, and indestructible. The 99 is a dense vampire corps (~34 creatures) backed by drain payoffs like Sanctum Seeker, Blood Artist, and Bloodletter of Aclazotz, plus the unique equipment twist of Arterial Alchemy, which turns every Blood token into a +2/+0 Equipment. Primary wins come from overwhelming combat with lords such as Stromkirk Captain and Necropolis Regent, a table-drain finale through Exsanguinate or Malakir Bloodwitch, or the accidental combo of Exquisite Blood with Marauding Blight-Priest/Epicure of Blood for an infinite life-loss loop. This is a midrange value-beatdown list whose card flow and explosive turns both live and die with the commander.
