This deck is a five-color Spellslinger Control list commanded by Codie, Vociferous Codex. Codie's static ability prevents casting permanent spells, which the deck turns into an advantage by filling its 99 entirely with instants, sorceries, and lands. By keeping its zero-mana slot restricted to Profane Tutor and Ancestral Vision, any one-mana spell cast through Codie reliably cascades into an immediate tutor or three fresh cards. The primary win condition is Approach of the Second Sun, fetched via Codie and cast ahead of curve using Codie's five-mana burst. The deck then digs through its library with efficient wheel and filtering spells to recast Approach on Turn 7.
