Deck overview

Witherbloom, the Balancer is a Golgari midrange deck that uses creature count to discount its commander and every instant/sorcery it casts. The main plan is to build a wide, resilient board of value creatures and tokens, then convert that board into a one-turn kill with Overwhelming Stampede or Root Manipulation, supported by life-gain/drain through Zulaport Cutthroat, Cauldron of Essence, Vito, and Professor Dellian Fel. Reanimation and tutor effects keep the engine running after wipes. Beledros Witherbloom is the most important supporting card, generating Pests and untapping lands. There is no hidden commander; the deck functions as a creature-based value deck that occasionally wins through commander damage or mass drain.
