Commander: The Watcher in the Water

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

The Watcher in the Water is a mono-blue draw-matters deck: every extra draw on an opponent's turn makes a Tentacle, and those Tentacles both untap the Commander and lock down permanents with stun counters. The primary plan is to park the Watcher behind its nine stun counters, generate tokens via instant-speed draw, then finish with flying 9/9 swings under Wonder or Eldrazi Monument. A secondary deterministic plan hides in Mister Fantastic: with Nadir Kraken and both Altars, the deck filters its library into infinite colored mana and draws, then wins with Laboratory Maniac, Blue Sun's Zenith depleting an opponent, or Psychosis Crawler pings.
