Format: Commander

Commander: Wolverine, Best There Is

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is a Gruul "fight" deck helmed by Wolverine, Best There Is, who doubles all damage he deals and gains +1/+1 counters when he fights other creatures. The primary plan is to deploy Wolverine early, then use a dense suite of fight spells and creatures with fight triggers to control the board while accruing +1/+1 counters. The commander's damage doubling turns every fight into a board-wipe or direct-player burn. The deck also packs power-matters finishers like Overwhelming Stampede and End-Raze Forerunners to close out games. There are no infinite combos; the deck wins through combat damage, often with the commander or a massive trampling creature.
