Cloud Voltron Toolbox

Format: Commander

Commander: Cloud, Planet's Champion

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a Boros Equipment-Voltron deck helmed by Cloud, Planet's Champion, built around suiting him up and converting his double strike + indestructible into a same-turn kill via extra combat chains. The primary win is the classic Aggravated Assault + Sword of Feast and Famine loop - Cloud's double strike triggers the sword twice, untapping all lands to pay for infinite combats. A secondary line runs Godo, Bandit Warlord + Helm of the Host for the same infinite-combat effect, and Combat Celebrant offers a third redundant copy. The deck is dense with equipment tutors (Steelshaper's Gift, Stoneforge Mystic, Enlightened Tutor, Cloud, Midgar Mercenary), cheap draw (Sram, Senior Edificer, Puresteel Paladin), and a heavy turn-protection suite (Grand Abolisher, Silence, Conqueror's Flail) to make the kill turn safe. It plays as a fast, tutor-heavy combo-Voltron hybrid that wants to end the game in one explosive combat.
