Deck overview

This deck is an Esper control and cheat strategy built around Yennett, Cryptic Sovereign and an odd-mana-value theme. The primary game plan focuses on utilizing early mana rocks and topdeck sculptors such as Sensei's Divining Top, Soothsaying, and Brainstorm to ensure the top of the library is stacked with high-impact odd cards. Once Yennett attacks, she cheats devastating behemoths and spells into play for free, including Void Winnower, Toxrill, the Corrosive, and Breach the Multiverse. These threats lock down opposing boards and drain life totals while Yennett generates steady card and mana advantage. The deck features varied interaction, from versatile creature exile to board wipes like Promise of Loyalty, along with alternate win conditions such as Approach of the Second Sun and Profane Transfusion.
