Hylda, la reine de by PouleEtRoti

Format: Commander

Commander: Hylda of the Icy Crown

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Hylda of the Icy Crown is a tap-matters control deck. The primary plan is to tap enemy creatures with cheap instants and sorceries and convert each tap into a 4/4 Elemental by paying {1}, while stun counters and no-untap auras lock down blockers. Secondary paths lean on flying beaters such as Frost Titan, Ojutai, and Icefall Regent, plus mass tap effects like Blustersquall and Cone of Cold, to clear the way for an alpha strike. Verity Circle and Scroll of Isildur turn taps into cards, keeping the engine fueled. No hidden commander is present; Hylda is the sole token and draw engine, so the deck is heavily dependent on keeping her on the battlefield.
