Deck overview

Surtr, Fiery Jotun heads an explosive mono-red artifact storm and burn strategy. The deck converts low-cost historic spells into continuous three-damage triggers that incinerate opposing boards and life totals. Supported by zero-mana artifacts and kobold creatures, Surtr turns simple cast sequences into overwhelming noncombat damage. Damage amplifiers like Solphim, Mayhem Dominus and City on Fire rapidly push this output into lethal territory. The deck also features dedicated infinite loops: bouncing zero-mana creatures with Cloudstone Curio to trigger Surtr infinitely, or cycling Sensei's Divining Top with Mystic Forge and Foundry Inspector to draw the entire library and burn out the table.
