Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Edric, Spymaster of Trest is the engine of a low-to-the-ground tempo draw deck. The primary plan is to flood the board with unblockable, flying, and low-power rogues (Mist-Cloaked Herald, Invisible Stalker, Tetsuko Umezawa) and to swing every turn so that each hit draws a card. Secondary draw-on-combat permanents (Bident of Thassa, Ohran Frostfang, Toski, The Indomitable) multiply the payoff. Accumulated cards fuel either a Craterhoof Behemoth overrun or a backup Laboratory Maniac finish with Finale of Revelation. Edric himself is the cheapest repeatable draw source and an attacker; there is no hidden commander, though the shell can continue attacking if he is removed.
