Deck overview

Thranduil, the Elvenking is a Sultai value deck: ramp early, fill the graveyard with Elves, then turn Thranduil into a draw engine by chaining legendary Elves and borrowing dead Elves' activated abilities. The primary path is combat, growing Moon-Vigil Adherents and Gloom Ripper into huge trampling threats, with Meneldor resetting Gloom Ripper's pump each turn. Secondary paths include poison/proliferate from Branchblight Stalker, Thrummingbird, and High Perfect Morcant, plus counterspells and bounce to control the board. There is no hidden commander; the deck is built around Thranduil, though Meneldor plus Gloom Ripper is the most compact finishing synergy.
