Deck overview

This deck is a Sultai combo-engine strategy centered on Thranduil, the Elvenking. It combines classic Elfball mana acceleration with targeted graveyard entitlement. The primary plan uses efficient early mana dorks like Priest of Titania and Elvish Archdruid to deploy Buried Alive or Jarad's Orders, loading the graveyard with key Elves: Devoted Druid, Greenhilt Trainee, and Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord. Once Thranduil enters the battlefield, he inherits all activated abilities from these cards. By pairing Devoted Druid's untap cost with Greenhilt Trainee's buff ability, Thranduil generates arbitrarily large power, toughness, and green mana. He then uses Jarad's inherited ability to sacrifice a pumped creature, draining all opponents for lethal damage in a single turn. Backed by solid protection spells and alternate Elf token swarm lines, the deck presents a resilient, explosive mid-game clock.
