Deck overview

This mono-blue combo-control deck uses artifact mana and specific tutors to assemble a fast win through Isochron Scepter and Dramatic Reversal. Generating infinite mana allows the deck to draw its entire library and eliminate all opponents in a single turn using Walking Ballista or Brain Freeze. When the primary combo is delayed, the deck controls the game using efficient countermagic and asymmetric stax pieces. Karn, the Great Creator pairs with Mycosynth Lattice to shut down all opponent activations, while Taniwha phases out your own lands to turn Land Equilibrium and Sunder into one-sided mana locks. Dense artifact recursion from Emry, Lurker of the Loch and Academy Ruins provides strong resilience against removal, allowing the deck to rebuild quickly and close the game.
