Commander: Shorikai, Genesis Engine

Bracket: 5

Deck overview

This Azorius artifact-combo deck, helmed by Shorikai, Genesis Engine, leverages a dense web of synergistic loops and tutors to assemble one of many deterministic wins. Shorikai provides a repeatable card-advantage engine in the command zone, generating pilot tokens that crew it or enable combos. The 99 is packed with interlocking infinite-mana, -damage, -mill, and -token lines, alongside laboratory-style alternative win conditions (Thassa's Oracle, Laboratory Maniac) and disruption-heavy interaction. The deck aims to deploy a low-curve acceleration piece (Sol Ring, Lotus Petal, Mox Amber, signets), establish one of several untap engines (Intruder Alarm, Freed from the Real, Aphetto Alchemist, Unwinding Clock), and convert that into a looping combo that either mills the table with Grinding Station or drains with Blasting Station, or exiles its library via Leveler/Paradigm Shift/Thought Lash for a Thassa's Oracle win. Backup plans include Urza, Lord High Artificer generating overwhelming mana, Teshar, Ancestor's Apostle looping cheap artifacts, and Farewell as a reset button. The deck is highly redundant, resilient, and capable of winning through multiple independent channels.
