Deck overview

This deck is a Boros aggro strategy built around Dwarf tribal synergies and artifact token accumulation, led by Thorin, King of Durin's Folk. The game plan floods the board with low-cost Dwarf creatures and token generators during the opening turns, establishing an expansive creature presence while generating incidental Treasure tokens. Deploying Thorin on turn 5 converts this board into an immediate offensive threat: Thorin creates an additional Treasure on entry and grants each other Dwarf +1/+0 for every artifact token under your control. By turn 6, the deck attacks with a wide array of high-power Dwarves, augmented by combat multipliers like Dáin Ironfoot, Hammers of Moradin, and Two-Handed Axe // Sweeping Cleave. While vulnerable to mass creature removal and artifact sweepers, the deck leverages mass flicker spells like Eerie Interlude and Semester's End for protection, and alternative payoffs like Magda, Brazen Outlaw and Balin, Loremaster to sustain lethal table pressure.
