Format: Commander

Commander: Tidus, Yuna's Guardian

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Tidus, Yuna's Guardian helms a Bant +1/+1-counter deck that wants to snowball: move counters at combat, attack with countered creatures to trigger cheer (draw + proliferate), and multiply those counters across the board. The deck is built around counter-doubling and proliferation effects such as Hardened Scales, Inexorable Tide, Tromell, Seymour's Butler, and Luminous Broodmoth, then finishing with a massive trampling/double-striking army, an oversized Sin, Unending Cataclysm, or the compact infinite combo of Heliod, Sun-Crowned + Walking Ballista. The commander is the hub for both counter mobility and card flow, though cards like Yuna, Grand Summoner, Nesting Grounds, and Resourceful Defense keep the plan functioning if Tidus is repeatedly answered.
